Exhibition displays aluminium art sculptures across two centuries

Over 60 pieces of art illustrating how aluminium was used by Italian sculptures is being exhibited at a museum in Italy.

Some of the pieces are on loan from public collections, archives and private trusts dating back to the late 1910’s.

The exhibition also includes some examples of the first informal and abstract research of post-war artists.

The exbibition is open in two venues (Ernesto Galeffi and the Il Cassero per la scultura italiana dell’Ottocento e del Novecento) until 8 September 2013.
